Tom Corley, financial planner and author of several books, conducted a study which focuses on the 17 things that millionaires made for success. According to Dinero portal, the study is based on research conducted at 350 "wealthy" (annual revenues above USD $ 160,000) over five years.

- 70% of millionaires eat less than 300 calories of junk food a day. 97% of people deemed "not rich" consume more than 300 calories per day on junk food.
- 80% of millionaires are focused on achieving a single goal, 123% of those who are not focused on doing.
- 63% of millionaires listen to audio books while traveling to work.
- 81% of millionaires keep a list of things to do daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.
- 67% of millionaires write their goals.
- 84% of millionaires believe that good habits create luck and opportunities.
